The Respiratory system

The Respiratory system

The human respiratory system is a lots organs responsible for taking in oxygen and getting rid of carbon dioxide. The primary organs of the respiratory system are lungs, which carry out this exchange of gases as we breathe. The respiration system is a Stress (oxidative) process in which oxygen is taken into the lungs to put Chemicals (oxidize) in the food in order to release energy and carbon dioxide.

The lungs allow the air to enter the body. When the air enters the body some exits the body and when the air exits the body the carbon dioxide is going out with it. During the process, the red blood cells collect the carbon dioxide and transport it back to the lungs and when it is at the back of the lungs it gets transported to the mouth which goes out with the air that exits the body. The bloodstream delivers oxygen to cells and removes carbon dioxide through respiration. The muscles are responsible for human quiet breathing. The left lung includes superior lobe, the right lung includes the middle lobe. The superior lobe is more important than the middle lobe because the superior lobe separates the middle lobe from the upper lobe, The upper lobe is a root to the left lung and the superior lobe is a root to the right lung. The superior lobe and the middle lobe is a small part of the lungs and is the least important parts of the respiratory System.

The lung lets air in to the body to get rid of the carbon dioxide. The muscles keep human breathing quiet and blood cells collect carbon dioxide and transport it to the mouth.

This week for Inquiry we are learning about the respiratory system. I have done the sculpture task, for the sculpting task you had to sculpt out the respiratory system body parts. The respiratory system helps you breath and if you didn't have a respiratory system then you would probably be died. This is the first task that our group has done. This was made and helped by Miiana.
