Ripper rugby tournament

This week on Wednesday we went to the Auckland university rugby state to play rip-pa rugby. We went to this tournament because we have been training hard and working together to win the tournament. When we jumped off the bus, Mr Ogilvie said that there would be spies going around looking for the best school that was showing good sportsman ship.

When we finish the talk we walked over to the spot where we set up our bags and then started practicing. We kicked the ball over the goal post and then took our shoes off. We had to play bear feet because if we played in boots you would step on some body's feet.

We had our first game against bailey road. We got the ball five times but keep over stepping with the ball when we got ripped. We also kept defending our tags to and your not allowed to do that. We had a draw with bailey road as we all played hard. Then we had our next game against Silvia park, We got the ball lots of times but sometimes we weren't sharing but we learn't to share. Then it started coming to an end as we won 7 to 6.

After that we walked to watch the open year 7 and 8 boys play. They had 5 games,They lost against point England but won the rest of there games as they cam second out of all the teams they played. then we went to go watch Spelman, Zeplin and Andrw played with the barbarians, unfortunately they won no games but played harder then imagined.
